Welcome to the Edison School District After School Program. Empowering Edison Excellence. In an effort to support the regular school day the after school staff works diligently in accommodating the needs of our students. The goal of the After School Program is to enhance academic achievement, improve skill development, increase positive behavioral changes, and instill in our students strong study skills which will develop better homework completion. The program will service 1st – 8th grades. Each student who attends the After School Program should be willing to participate in all planned activities and homework. Participating families should be willing to work with the staff and communicate with the site Coordinator if there are any concerns or questions. Program The After School Program starts immediately following school dismissal and ends at 6:00 p.m...Empowering Edison Excellence after school program will endeavor to reinforce what the student has been taught during the regular school day.
Read 180 operates during the after school program. There will be many extra curricular activities through out the school year. There will be homework Monday thru Thursday. Computer labs at both sites are used. Homework is completed (Thanks to coordination with site teachers) Martial Arts once a week. Cooking class at Orangewood Edison Photography, Movie making (soon) Film & Lit at Orangewood. Color Guard starting soon.
