Modernization is well under way at Edison Middle School. Phase 1 shoould be complete around May.
The fiscal crisis facing the State of California is unprecedented and presents California's public schools with challenges and demands that just a few months ago were unthinkable. The Governor has proposed cuts that would reduce funding to all California districts. Since state funding represents over 85% of the District's budget, the proposed cuts could prove challenging.
The District and the Board of Education is committed to educational excellence while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
